For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- +5 years of experience with GCP-based data processing systems and data pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of BigQuery, including application development and complex SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with Python for data engineering tasks.
- Ability to optimize data storage and retrieval using GCP storage solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulations.
- Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation of data systems.
- Understanding of data governance best practices (quality, lineage, metadata).+8
- Familiarity with Big Data concepts for handling large-scale datasets.
- Ability to evaluate and select appropriate GCP services for specific needs.
- Stay updated on GCP advancements to improve processes.
- Availability to work in a fully remote model based in Portugal;
- Fluency in English and German, written and spoken (at least a B2 level).
