The perfect Rhino will have…

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Java development.
  • Deep knowledge of the Java ecosystem, including: Web services/API (JAX-WS, REST/JSON); JPA / Hibernate; Junit and Mockito.
  • 2+ years of experience with Angular 2+.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Understanding of relational databases, particularly Oracle.
  • Experience with continuous integration principles and tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, like Scrum.
  • Willingness to participate in code reviews.
  • Commitment to following community best practices and team guidelines.
  • Ability to write clean, easily understandable code.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English (at least B2 level).
  • Availability for a hybrid work model in Porto, Portugal.
