We are looking for a Rhino that will…

• Set up and configure middleware applications, including Tibco, Kafka, Kong, and potentially Pentaho, to facilitate seamless communication and integration among different systems and teams
• Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to teams working with middleware applications, ensuring their effective utilization and adherence to best practices. 
• Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and stability of the middleware applications, taking proactive measures to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with the expertise center at OCCI (Lyon/Braga) for technical coordination, knowledge sharing, and alignment with the company's middleware strategy.
• Develop and deliver training sessions on Tibco, Kafka, Kong, and other relevant middleware technologies to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in middleware technologies and industry trends, continuously improving your own expertise and sharing insights within the organization.
• Assist in the design and architecture of middleware solutions, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and compatibility with existing systems.
• Participate in the development of new middleware functionalities and enhancements, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.

And will be skilled in…

• Degree in computer science, information technology or related courses
• +5 years of professional experience as a technical lead, specializing in PHP Symfony and API development.
• Proficiency in middleware technologies, specifically in ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) concepts, Kafka, and API management.
• Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in setting up and managing middleware applications, with a focus on Tibco, Kafka, and Kong. Knowledge of Pentaho is a plus.
• Demonstrated autonomy and leadership abilities, with the capability to guide and support teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders, explain technical concepts, and provide guidance to non-technical team members.
• Experience in middleware architecture and the ability to contribute to the design and scalability of the middleware infrastructure.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in middleware technologies.
• English Proficiency (At leat B2)
• Availability for a hybrid work model in Porto.
